Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by caminoskipper from Nevada on Monday, March 7, 2016I absolutely love this top. It is extremely soft. It keeps you warm when used over a shirt without being overly warm. I am 5'8" 170 and the large fit perfectly. I am able to wear a short sleeve shirt under it without it being too tight. It is long enough in body and arms which is sometimes hard for me to find.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by VMS from Iceland on Monday, August 10, 2015I bought a size small and the shirt fits perfect. The shirt does not fit too tight which is what I like. I wore the shirt after a long hike. The temperature was around 15 degree Celsius and I was comfortable. I never noticed the shirt to be itchy either. I would recommend the shirt to a friend.
Reviewed by Lather and Rinse from Northern California on Wednesday, June 24, 2015Other reviewers have covered the great qualities of this sweater. The tight knit gives it a little wind-proofing. I love it so much that I ordered another 2 sizes larger, just to wear as an outer layer. And sometimes I wear it as a PJ top!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Thomas from Jackson Hole on Wednesday, June 17, 2015Incredible quality & high performance for running, skiing, mountain climbing- all outdoor athletics & sports competition!!!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Yoopermom from Michigan on Tuesday, June 2, 2015Got to be the most comfortable shirt I now own. Instantly loved the feel and fit. I'm a blue-eyed blond and the admiral color is quite flattering - doesn't wash out my complexion the way black can. Can't wait to see how it performs through the fall and winter. I'm a size 8/10 and the medium fits with just enough room that I could fit a light weight base layer under it for winter, but still fits well enough to stand alone as a spring/fall top or for cool summer nights. I think I'm now in love with Icebreaker.

“Does this have the little flap of fabric at the top of the zipper to protect your neck? Hard to see in the picture how the zipper ends and the description doesn't mention it.”
No it does not. The top of the zipper tucks back into the neck just a bit so that there are no "hard" ends of the zipper exposed
No, this shirt does not have the little flap by the neck. However, don't let that stop you from buying it. I've worn this shirt (bought two of them) for 12-hour days at work with it zipped up to under my chin and another thermal zip-neck and a shirt and jacket and you cannot even feel the zipper! The zipper tracks are not exposed on the top so there are no scratchy, hard parts that touch your skin and the zipper itself is smooth.
No,, it does not. I have not found it to be irritating, the zipper isn't big and chunky.
No, there is no fabric at the top of the neck to house the zipper. The neck is really comfortable when zipped, though, and the zipper does not bother me at all.
Excellent my wife love and I bought a second one.
Very warm and confortable
No this top does not have the flap of fabric., It's a straight seamed zipper.
There is no extra fabric at the top of the zipper. That is the only change for improvement that this top could use. This is my new favorite base layer. Perfect weight and fit.
No, I don't see any extra fabric at the top of the zipper, but it's small and made of non metal type material and the seams on either side add padding.
There is no flap at the top of the zipper. However, I've not ever had a problem with the zipper being scratchy or bothersome on any of my Icebreaker shirts or jackets.
I bought this shirt in a size larger than I usually wear and it turned out to be too big, so I gave it away. I can't remember if that little flap was there or not. One thing.....the collar does not stand up when the zipper is down even a little, so you have a wide open neckline unless it's fully zipped.
I'm not sure what you're talking about so here are some pictures, hope it helps!
The Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 Zip Neck Top does not have the flap at the top if the zipper. However, thus far, the absence of the flap has not bothered me in anyway while working outside in the cold weather. No chaffing or irritation on the chin or neck with lots of movement.
No it does not! It has thumb loops which are nice, but it has not really washed well. I have a GAP fleece lined hoodie. I find this is warmer and DOES HAVE THE FLAP OF FABRIC at the top of the zipper I also purchased a smartwool top. I find the smartwool keeps me warmer and washed better.
There's no flap, but I haven't been bothered by the zipper. The zipper itself is pretty much covered by fabric until the pull at the top; it's not a bulky zipper.
This does not have fabric across the top of the zipper.
