5.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable lightweight layerReviewed by pnwmom from Seattle on Thursday, March 15, 2018Love merino wool as a warm, lightweight layer. This tank is summer weight for hot days but also works as a warmer base layer. It's a little sheer (needs a bra or other layer for modesty if wearing on its own). I got the tasmin/snow color (because it was available in my size) which is a pretty turquoise/aquamarine color; it's light but not pastel-looking. I like the cut of this tank- it's long enough to skim past the hips (no midriff flashing) the armholes are loose, but no gaping. Full coverage on the back, I'm 5'6" 120# athletic build and the size S fit perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this tank!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WA State on Wednesday, February 28, 2018I’ll start by saying, I wish I had bought a few more while I had the chance. True to size: I’m 114#, 5’4”, trim, small bust, and the size Small fits great. Not tight, not baggy, just right. Armholes and neck like perfect- not gaping, too low, or too big. I’ve been in Hawaii a week, and I’ve worn the one daily on my beach runs and only had to hand wash (hung to dry), once. No stink! Cool, light, airy, and the perfect first layer under a sun blocking shirt. I also wore it over on the plane, under a light sweater. If you can get your size, buy several. Really a great find.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Very thin fabric with faultsReviewed by LTM from Massachusetts on Wednesday, May 10, 2017I purchased a medium in this tank (5' 7", 125lbs, thin waist with most of my weight on my bottom half) and probably should've gone a small but they were out of stock at the time. It's pretty shapeless but I figured I would use it as a top for when it's humid out so that aspect would be acceptable.
The blue color is nice but as others have pointed out, you really need something under this to wear in public. The fabric stretches out pretty easily since it is thin but I was still alright with the shirt until I noticed a hole in the wool about 2 months after receiving the product with little wear. This was not on a seam and I do not anything rough with the shirt (no dryer, only wash when really needed) so is really a fault in the fabric itself.
I buy Icebreaker brand a lot and love the functionality of their products, even for their higher prices, but I will switch to another brand if this continues to happen (this is my second item from them with this problem). Their warranty is great but it's only worth it to a certain extent. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Soft, cool topVerified Buyer Reviewed by happy hiker from massachusetts on Monday, August 29, 2016The top is a pretty color, fits a bit loose (which I like), and appears as a solid color (which I also like). The small is not form fitting on me so I can wear it out kayaking, etc. not just at the gym. Soft merino wool and high quality- what one expects from Icebreaker. Thanks STP.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best performance tank everVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NY on Sunday, July 17, 2016I purchased one of these tanks last year, and when they went on sale this year I promptly bought three more.
Over the past year, this tank has proven to be the best performance top ever. It has not stretched out, pilled, or torn over time, and the fit could not be better. The straps cover my bra straps perfectly, the armholes are roomy without showing the side of my bra, and it is slightly loose ( better for ventilation) without looking sloppy.
I recently went on a a backpacking trip with humid 90 degree temps. I was sweating like crazy - my pack was so damp that I thought I had sprung a leak in my water bladder! Even in these conditions I was comfortable in this top. Once at camp, I hung it out for an hour or so and it dried in a jiffy.
Of course, like all icebreaker products, it never stank either!
Lastly, the colors are fab too! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. cool and comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Junefruit from California on Wednesday, March 23, 2016I'm usually a medium, but small fit perfectly. I wore this tank top for a 21 day hike along the John Muir Trail. It is soft, light, dries fairly quickly, and doesn't get stinky. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great tankReviewed by LMc from Columbia MD on Thursday, February 11, 2016I love Icebreaker so much in the winter that I figured I'd buy these to wear this summer. Great quality and a flattering cut. I've learned to size up with Icebreaker -- I'm 5'8", 135, and the large fits well (in the comfy/flattering sweet spot between skin tight and baggy).

5.0 out of 5 stars. Runs very largeReviewed by Anonymous from CA on Wednesday, January 6, 2016I normally take a medium, sometimes a small. I bought a small, and wish I had gotten an extra small. I'm 5'6" 135 lbs.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Lovely material...Verified Buyer Reviewed by didee99 from Colorado on Saturday, November 7, 2015Lovely material - feels great against the skin but a little on the sheer side in that if you were to buy a light color, you would see through the material unless wearing a skin tone bra. I probably should have ordered a size small form my regular size medium but ended up sending the item back and not exchanging.
