Verified Buyer Reviewed by DH from UT on Monday, January 9, 2012The picture isn't very good, and the item description could be better. As mentioned, it doesn't have rear cycling-jersey pockets, instead it has a vertical zippered hand pocket on the lower right side. Also it isn't all black - there are two lines of red stitching from the neck to the shoulder on the right side, and the zipper coils are red (although you can't see them when it is fully zipped up).
- Best Uses: Riding
- Cons: Inaccurate pic descrip
- Pros: Comfortable, Fits Well

Verified Buyer Reviewed by misbe from Baltimore, MD on Wednesday, December 21, 2011This shirt feels soft and washes much better than the lighter weight wool shirts I have. The zipper is long enough to regulate temperature.
- Cons: Poor color for road rides
- Pros: 260 weight, Great collar, Trim fit
Verified Buyer Reviewed by canoehat from Westchester, NY on Monday, December 19, 2011Super soft and breathes better than any synthetic fabric. Great for outdoor activities as a shirt or base layer. It's as good as any high-end cycling jersey except no rear pockets (one small zippered side pocket). Bottom hem is designed to prevent rolling up, so it's ideal as a tucked-in base layer. Relatively trim fit—I'm over 200lbs. so the XXL fits me well. I love it for casual wear. Just a fantastic shirt.
- Best Uses: Base layer, CASUAL WEAR, Cycling, fitness walking, Hiking, Running
- Pros: All-day comfort, Excellent wicking, High quality tailoring, SOFT AS COTTON

Reviewed by edj Mountain Biking from Evergreen CO on Saturday, October 22, 2011Compared to the cost of wool bike shirts this one is very reasonable with Sierra's extra discounts. It doesn't have bike pockets in the back, but is very functional for mountain biking. Has one useful pocket on the size for keys phone etc. I use this shirt all the time. Can also be layered with a top underneath when it gets cold.
- Best Uses: Mountain biking
- Cons: none
- Pros: Icebreaker quality, Versatile for layering
