My new favorite piece of outerwear. It is very light, very stylish and very comfortable. I'm 6'1 1/2", 180lbs and I went with a Large (Chartruse) as I'll use it for an outer layer primarily. I could have comfortably fit a Medium as well if I wanted to use it as a mid layer. I wear it around town... Read More

A good fit (L in this case), and very warm for the weight. A nice feature not shown is another inner layer at the wrists that "hug" your wrists. This zips European style so if you are not a fan beware.

I love this jacket. it's so comfortable and warm that you'll want to wear it all the time. Fit: Slightly fitted, but neither too slim nor too baggy.

For $104, this is a steal (I think i used the 25% off + free ship on $100+ coupon). So much so, I bought one for my cousin (he loved mine) a week later. Warm as can be, I'd use this with a base layer or tshirt down to about 40-45*, perhaps 35-40* with a beanie and gloves. I'm 6'2", 185lbs, with a long ape index...and a M fits very very nicely. I've even managed to get caught in the rain with it on and it's done quite well, though i'd be wary of standing in a torrential downpour for extended periods of time...

All in all, a score and a half, IMO

At about $100 this was a great buy. I've been looking for an insulated puffy jacket for quite a while. When I spotted this in the store (grey with orange trim) I didn't hesitate after trying it on.
I'm 6' tall and 200 lbs. Large fit me well. Sleeves are plenty long with an inner sleeve for about the first 2" which helps to minimize any draft.

    PROS:
Insulation is wool with some recycled wool involvement so it is quite warm (and possibly even when wet, though I've not saturated this yet). We have been enduring nearly record low temps in Minnesota this December, neg 30's with wind chill, and this is a goto jacket for my work commute. The hood is warm, though an integrated drawcord would be an improvement.
    I love the merino liner.
Water resistance is acceptable for light to moderate rain exposure.

    CONS:
Hood is well shaped but has no drawcord which minimizes potential warming effects in cold temps (which in my neighborhood is essential in the winter).

    Wife steals it frequently.

I've had my eye on this for months, as I really wanted a merino (rather than down) puffer jacket/mid layer for under my shell. The pastel blue colour and shiny finish picture had put me off, a bit. Ultimately, I caved and ordered, choosing function our form. I was so pleased when the jacket arrived! It's an excellent royal blue without the pictures sheen. Fit is perfect (I'm 6', 40" shoulders, 35" arms and 32 waist - ordered a medium)
    Perfect weight and heat regulation.
