Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ryan from Texas on Wednesday, October 26, 2016This shirt is perfect for just about any situation. Amazing for travel as it can easily be dressed-up or down for the situation at hand. It sheds dirt and odors for days of continuous use and is very comfortable. This shirt was my go-to when hiking through French wine country and then Oktoberfest. Great temperature regulation as well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny Mac from Minneapolis on Sunday, October 23, 2016Great midweight wool flannel shirt. Not too huge around the middle, which is a problem with many flannels. I have two other Icebreaker shirts and although they aren't cheap, you get what you pay for: excellent construction and materials.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mark NE from Boston, MA on Friday, May 13, 2016It's a tough flannel shirt but it's made of merino wool, what more do you need to know? It's absolutely fantastic. Fit is large! I'm 6'1", 180lbs, athletic, medium fits well. Large must be truly massive. I have full shoulder range of motion with medium, sleeves are plenty long enough, as is torso hem. This fabric seems like it'll last forever. The shoulders are double layered, this would be great for use with a backpack. the flannel weave is tight so it blocks wind much better than thicker rib- or jersey-knit merino fabrics, but has no stretch. Again, get your size right and this will be the only cold-weather flannel shirt you need to own.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by didee99 from Colorado on Wednesday, April 13, 2016Bought this for my husband who likes flannel shirts but being Icebreaker and merino, even better. He liked the red one so much that I ordered another in green. I think they should last a long time. One came out of the wash this week - a little crumpled but not too bad. Generous sizing but should shrink a little with that first wash (sorry, did not check).

As I see it, it is mainly red and white with some minor blue woven in. It looks correct enlarged on my computer screen.
To my eye it is more of a reddish color.
I would describe it as maroon or crimson - more in the red family of colors. Hope this helps. My husband has this color and then also in the green. He loves them both but prefers this color out of the 2.
They fit about the same as classic Pendleton shirts. These look somewhat tapered toward the waist in the picture but they are more straight cut.
