great if you don't have much hips.Verified Buyer Reviewed by LonnieMoo from San Francisco on Sunday, February 12, 2017So I love Icebreaker usually for my long torso, but this jacket was a little too straight and tight on the hips.
Icebreaker for the win!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Agility addict from DFW on Wednesday, February 1, 2017This fantastic coat is warm and a gorgeous blue. At a recent weekend event in a cold, 40-degree barn, while other people were remarking on how cold it was and shivering under patio heaters, I wore it with just an Icebreaker base layer and stayed warm all day. For both appearance and function, Icebreaker is it. [I recently reviewed an Under Armour Cold Gear base layer that I wore with this jacket and I needed an additional layer, so I definitely choose Icebreaker over Under Armour.] I'm 5'5" and 140 lbs and wear a medium in IB and most clothing.
I notice that some reviews mention poor quality products from IB. I've bought dozens of IB items both from STP as well as directly from IB. Keep in mind that STP is selling "seconds," which have factory imperfections. That's why STP prices are so low. It can range from some extra threads hanging loose or a seam poorly made. I've not experienced a problem with any IB items, however.
I should have bought stock in IcebreakerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Agility addict from DFW on Wednesday, January 11, 2017I own several dozen Icebreaker items because of their fit, comfort, function, and feel. This lovely jacket is no exception to their high standards and is a gorgeous color with low bulk. I recently wore this jacket for a daylong athletic event with temperatures in the teens, layered over an Icebreaker bodyfit layer and a Smartwool sweater and stayed warm and comfortable.
So wanted to loveReviewed by CowgirlC from Seattle on Thursday, November 10, 2016I have been wanting this jacket since I saw the grapefruit color, which is gorgeous. As with many of my Icebreaker products however, the fit is a bit strange. I am usually a pretty solid size small or 4 to 6 in tops/jackets, the small was too small and the medium fit more like a large. I have another similar style with knit sides, in a small, which fits perfectly so I can attest to the fact the wool lining and filling makes for one warm jacket both on its own and as a base layer under a ski jacket. Icebreaker products are my favorites, I just wish they could nail down their sizing better. The three stars are for color and quality and warmth.
Wool filledVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bonnie from Lockport, NY on Tuesday, November 8, 2016Would give it 5 stars, but runs small. I usually take a medium, and large is snug.
