Reviewed by Rick Shaw from Chinatown on Thursday, January 9, 2014Pretty funny that the socks are marked L & R to explain which foot that they belong(even though she's dyslexic and it really doesn't matter). Thanks STP!
Reviewed by Wool lover from Wisconsin on Thursday, November 21, 2013Having a warm pair of socks is priceless. I am not girly, I just want to be warm. Depending on the weather, the different weights of socks help tremendously. I like wearing socks that go over the calf because it's like having extra insulation without having the bulk where women don't want it. I have icebreaker socks, smartwool socks, and I am thinking the icebreakers are a better bang for your buck. Sometimes I thing with smartwool socks, you just pay extra for the name, even though they are nice. Icebreaker socks keep you toasty, and like all wool, they regulate your temperature so you don't get too warm. They come in different weights for different shoes and weather. Can't go wrong unless you are the type of woman that wears dress shoes in winter.
Reviewed by Likes to Hike from New England on Wednesday, October 30, 2013These socks fit well (true to size) & are a great lightweight sock when you're skiing on those lovely mild days... They are cute & comfy- love icebreaker!
Reviewed by Twiggy1954 from Washington on Monday, March 25, 2013These were not available in my size, so I bought one size up. Then I washed them in pretty warm water and dried them on hot. They shrunk just the tiniest bit, but it was enough to make them work out for me!
They are pretty warm for most outdoor sports, but I would not suggest that they be worn if the temperature is in the single digits. Since it doesn't get that cold here, they are perfect for our temperatures.
