Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by oktomat from Michigan on Wednesday, May 17, 2017These are a great base layer. Not scratchy and are nice and warm. I did dock a star because of sizing - I ordered my normal size and these bunch up when I put a pair of jeans over them. Seem to run a bit large and stretch out a bit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Arizona hike from Arizona on Wednesday, August 31, 2016I was skeptical about the no-itch wool, but these are truly no itch! I am 5'6" and I ordered a medium, they were a little snug in the thigh but loosened quickly into a comfortable fit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Globe trotter from New England on Monday, July 11, 2016This bottom base layer is form fitting. While it will be good to wear under pants that aren't roomy, I'll need to take care that they never slip into the dryer. I am a 6/8 with fairly thin legs. Haven't worn full day so they may stretch out a bit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kayla from Wisconsin on Wednesday, July 6, 2016These leggings rock my world. I plan to buy more in a variety of colors.
I wore these under shorts during a recent trip Alaska, and they performed better than I could have ever dreamed. I was backpacking in the back county and had to cross a lot of braids and glacial streams. These held heat and dried incredibly quickly. And when the sun came out, they were totally breathable. The power of wool!
I admittedly wore them a few days in a row.
I'm size 6-8 and the small fits perfect.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by VonKountzavich from Steilacoom, WA on Wednesday, June 29, 2016I bought these to replace a pair of worn-out Smartwool midweight bottoms that I wear as pajamas. They're okay. Good quality, but nothing spectacular so I'm glad I got a good price. I'm 4 foot 11 and a size 8. I ordered the large, but could have gotten the medium and been happy. Would definitely recommend the medium if I was going to wear them as a base layer. They have a thicker and smoother feel than the Smartwool, but the same warmth. Some crotch pilling after the first wash and wear.
