Great traction, no effect on form

Tested these shoes in 2 types of conditions: a) wet snow, about 3 inches, steep rocky hills up and down; b) uneven ice, very slick in places. The approach in both cases was on paved roads. I cannot wish for better traction: did not slip once, even when landed on an uneven rock hidden by a thin layer of snow. My feet stayed dry in 2 - 3 inches of slush. Just my socks above the shoe were wet, and a little moisture sipped in from above. These shoes are quite noisy on pavement, but do not negatively affect my form, no do I feel any strain on my tendons. Conclusion: excellent specialty shoe for ice and snow.
