It's unobtrusive, and the little swinging lid works well, that is, if you can position the top absolutely perfectly in its little groove around the perimeter, which is generally preceded by a few fumbles. I love it anyway.

It is just large enough to hold individual collections (holiday music, selected artists, etc.).Its slight slant helps keep items from spilling out. It has weight, but is not heavy. This is a well-balanced compact storage unit.
