Since then I have worn them quite a bit both on the street and in some light hiking. At the time of my initial review I expressed that the soles were light and not suitable for hiking over heavy terrain. Well, these shoes are not very suitable for ANMY terrain.
The soles have become even softer, to the point where I can feel every stone I walk over and the toe caps are starting to separate from the upper. I see that these shoes have recently been marked down to about $18.00 which reflects their worth- you get what you pay for and these shoes were a huge disappointment. Save your $18 and put it toward a better quality shoe. -

The sole is a bit thin so this boot is best utilized for light hiking over terrain that is not festooned with small rocks. -

Even a light rain walking 1/2 mile to the store got your feet wet.
