Roomy and warm

I really like these boots. I wear them 2X daily for mucking and feeding at the barn - in Colorado. They have kept my feet warm with regular crew socks. I have had them about 2 weeks. That being said I have noticed a couple of things. I have put an additional lambswool liner in each boot because they are roomy width wise. Length wise, I don't think I could order a size smaller and I have noticed that they have gotten roomier since I have been wearing them, so I may need to add something else additional or wear heavier socks. I go up and down hills, so I may have compressed some of the insulation inside.
The other issue is the zipper. I love zipper boots, but have never had one that didn't eventually fail. Unfortunately I started having problems with the zippers within a week. They zip up no problem. Unzipping has become somewhat of a problem as the right one will only unzip half way down. The left one usually works, but sometimes only goes halfway down also. Fortunately, because they are roomy, I can easily slip them off and then once off, I can easily unzip them the rest of the way for putting on the next time. I do not force the zipper so I am hoping that this solution will preserve the life of the zipper.
They have good traction and they open up nice and wide when unzipped to tuck in pants if desired. They are also quite comfortable. For the price they are a good boot.
