I bought this in hopes of finding a quality sweater that will last a while and fits well. At 6'1" and 175lbs I tend to be too thin for larges but too tall for mediums, so I was wary ordering the medium in this. However, with the sleeve gaitors it fits PERFECTLY. It hugs me snugly over a heavy-weight... Read More

Compared to higher-priced similar items with wool and a windstopping barrier this is great as it is much lighter than the competition. It also looks very good and the workmanship is better than others I have tried.

I would improve it by making the pockets a little larger.

I have the pullover version of this and love it, so, I decided to spring for the zipped jacket. This model has a lining, as others have noted, that rustles--I literally searched for tissue paper as I unpacked it. I tried it on, and it is snug and stretchy, like the pullover, but the lining is noisy and it seemed a bit more snug than the pullover (odd, but may be lining). I decided to return it, but still recommend it as long as you aren't wearing it to stalk animals or undercover work. High qulaity and the boiled wool is very nice.

As soon as I put it on I know it's not for me. I have this itchy feeling on my neck and as much as I like it if it's not comfortable then it's not for keeping

Jacket (is definitely more of a jacket, than a hooded sweatshirt) is a nice tight fit, even after I originally ordered a L, and returned for an extra large. I wanted it to fit closely as I was expecting to use it under a hard shell. The extra large fits me perfect, and even gives me enough space for a thin to medium mid layer. There is a nylon liner which makes for a nice wind break, but does cause some noise. Not a problem. There are wrist extensions on the inside of the sleeve which make it nice, as they fit under winter gloves, or over my spring/fall gloves.

    • Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Great lining, Warm
