Verified Buyer Reviewed by annderwear from Massachusetts on Monday, September 7, 2015This fleece jacket matches its description well. It is true to size and well made. What a great addition to my cool to cold outerwear.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by quintana roo from california on Thursday, July 9, 2015I like everything about this jacket... it's comfortable, more presentable than regular fleece, is wearing very well, comes in great, soft, rich colors, has good pockets, a sturdy zipper, inoffensive logo embroidery... I wear it constantly. My absolute favorite ever.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hannah from Vermont on Monday, June 29, 2015This jacket is a nice design and beautiful color but it really is lightweight. The fleece is much thinner than many other jackets like this. It would be great for a summer layer but I'd go for something heavier for "cold days on the trail."
Verified Buyer Reviewed by penguinbrat from MA on Monday, May 11, 2015This jacket is lighter weight than my Patagonia Better Sweater. Warm and dressier than a regular fleece jacket. I'm 5ft 110lbs and the xs fits well.
Reviewed by Campchick from Prescott AZ on Wednesday, April 1, 2015I ordered this jacket and it is beautiful! Thick fabric but soft and cozy. Very attractive. Unfortunately I ordered a large (I usually wear an 8-10) and it was huge. Had to return but my size was sold out. (sniff)

“I would like to know if this jacket pills after washing. I have had other high quality sweater-fleece jackets (Patagonia) and the newer versions pill heavily and look horrible after a few washings. I've never had this brand in a fleece and wonder if it is better quality - does it pill or not? ”
I have had this fleece for several months and washed it several times. I have not had any issues with pilling. I am very impressed with this fleece.
I have washed mine about eight or ten times. The inside is really soft and looks like fleece. It looks just a tiny bit scruffy, but I wouldn't consider it to be pilling at all. (It may have always been a little scruffy, I just don't remember). The outside is more a tiny knit than a fleece and is less soft and more smooth. The outside hasn't pilled at all and still looks brand new. I have loved Jack Wolfskin brand since I was in Germany many years ago.. It is a very high quality brand there. The one down side I have found with this particular jacket is that dog hair tends to stick a little more than average..
