love itVerified Buyer Reviewed by dave from seattle on Wednesday, October 18, 2017Just used this tent on an overnight snow hike with the boy scouts. 16 inches of powder on the ground and temps in the lower 20's. The tent went up in seconds and my son and I stayed warm and dry. Its light weight enough that my 10 year old son had no problem hiking it in. The front vestibule was perfect for our packs. When we got home the tent was easily dried in our front room in a few hours and put away.
A little too small for 2Reviewed by RB from Ca on Friday, August 12, 2016This is kind of a nifty little tent, for the sale price; I weighed it at 5 lbs. 6 oz. Fairly easy set-up and take down, pretty much self-explanatory (which was good as the instructions were very small). The zippered corners worked ok, and I could reach either one of the door zippers from where I lay. I did not try putting on the rain-fly as I'd already decided to return it. I'm 5'7" and I backpack with my dog. I did not feel there was enough room for the 2 of us, as she doesn't sleep in a straight line but curls up in a circle, so it would have been tight. I also didn't like that my head would be at the entrance, with very little room for shoes, right there at the head. Makes it awkward to get out of your sleeping bag and get dressed. And this isn't a really tall tent. However, this tent would be just fine for 1 person. It seemed pretty good quality. Nice little bag of accessories, including a tiny bottle of spray seam sealant. It did not come with a footprint; I was planning to cut my own out of plastic sheeting.
