Most Helpful 5-Star Review
great coatReviewed by horse person from MI on Friday, January 26, 2018This coat runs true to size; if you plan to wear many layers underneath then consider going up a size. I am 5'5" 130 pounds; medium fits great with a tank top, thin moisture wicking long sleeved shirt, and fleece underneath. It is very light weight. I am always cold and wore it horse riding yesterday; temp was about 30 F and I got hot in trot/canter work. When the weather is closer to 20 I will probably add another layer under it or wear a bigger down jacket on top.
The sleeves are a bit odd in the forearm area...they have zippered pockets and no down in that area. Not a deal breaker since I love the jacket but something to be noted.
There is a lot of "freedom" in the arm area too that I love..I can do arm stretches on the horse easily.
The material also seems a little sturdier than some other down jackets...my new dog did a happy leap into the air and grabbed the sleeve in her mouth...there is a slight "tooth dent" but it didn't rip! (but I'm not trying my luck...we are working on not grabbing new down jackets or arms).
The zipper seems potentially a bit wimpy but it is hard to find great zippers on clothes. Hoping it lasts!
I am considering buying a second jacket as a "back up" for the future as once I find a product I really like I sometimes "stock up." I am not fond of the color appearance of the jacket but it is so nice that I don't care.
Looks great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kay from Australia on Thursday, January 25, 2018This is a quality product that looks great, it's well fitted and warm, although it's not for really cold conditions. It's long enough in the back too, a bonus for a tall woman.
Light and warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Irish Rose from Illinois on Tuesday, November 28, 2017Love the style. Many hidden pockets with zippers. Well made and good fit. Would recommend
