Winter's just getting started here and I've given this hoodie/ neck gaiter a try... very warm! Being fleece, it's quiet. Not totally wind proof but really helps. Be careful how you tuck the cords because they can get caught on branches and brush. Would probably modify the cords if a child was going to wear it. Gave one to a hunter friend and he was delighted. Thnx!
    • Best Uses: Fishing, Hunting, Winter warmth
    • Cons: Cords can hang in brush
    • Pros: Camo, Quiet, Warm

Very warm, nice design that allows for multiple options in how you wear it. My only gripe is that the brass eyelet around the facial area came off, or was already off when I pulled it from the box. A stitched hole would prove better than a grommet that has to hold to fleece.
    • Best Uses: Camping, Deer stand, Hiking, Sleeping
    • Cons: Brass eyelets
    • Pros: Functional, Good design, Warm

This thing is really warm and the camo is definitely a plus for hunting...which is exactly the reason I got it.

Perfect for ice fishing. Probably not enough circumfrence for a larger person. I am female 145#,size 7 head and it's great, but if your much bigger will probably be too tight, lots of length, better than wool I will use ice fishing..soft polar fleece much easier on wind blown/ice/sun burned face...and nose!!
    • Best Uses: Ice fishing, Sub zero activities
    • Pros: Great coverage, Soft, Versatile, Warm

This is a fantastic product - really warm and comfortable.

The fleece is nice and thick and wind proof, and the draw cord makes it easy to adjust.

It is ideal for anyone who spends long periods of time outdoors in the winter, be it for work or hobby.
