worth a try at STP prices - rating based of design and material only

I can only make design & material comments. I'll try this out as my backpacking water boiler, but no field use to report yet. Too bad it doesn't have a lid, but I generally don't run out of fuel. Speak of fuel, an inverted 7 3/4 oz butane/propane canister fits perfectly into this cup. The bead on the bottom of the gas canister keeps it from dropping all the way in, so it can't get jammed. Either a delightful coincidence or thoughtful design feature. The metal is quite thin, which makes it light weight, but it may get dinged up after a while. It is quite a bit lighter than my well-used heavy duty stainless steel water boiling cup/pot.
