A couple of years ago we handed these out to Scouts for the backpacking portion of a Cooking Merit Badge class along with the Bleuet stoves that STP sometimes carries. They worked very well for cooking, eating, purifying water, and also clean up easily. Most of the scouts are still using them and they have held up well. A standard Nalgene bottle can ride inside with room to spare, or could many a small hiking stove, including my old Svea 123. I recommend this cup as an ultra-light backpacking single pot as well as a regular camp mug. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars because it still presents you with the classic issue of trying to sip fresh-boiled coffee from a steel-rimmed cup without burning your lips while wearing a leather glove to save your fingers. For that I still use my sierra cup.
