Just got this and went on a 3-day backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevadas. This thing was great. Boiled water in no time, thus saving on fuel consumption. Great to also steam some fresh veggies in. This product was worth it.

About Jetboil

Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst were fed-up with carrying around heavy, chunky stoves on their backcountry endeavors. In 2001, they took the matter into their own hands; Aspinwall and Dowst began Jetboil, a company dedicated to creating innovative cooking systems for backcountry adventurers. All Jetboil stove designs are based on the fact that compact, lightweight, fuel-efficient cooking systems depend on increased heat-transfer efficiency. Jetboil stove designs are subjected to intense field testing in the mountains and at the lab to ensure that you get the most efficient lightweight backpacking stove out there. The result of years of testing and inventing, Jetboil stoves are reliable, compact, unique and user friendly.
