Good with MiniMo

This pan sucked until i got the MiniMo. The Jetboil Flash and Zip dont have regulated flow which caused hotspots and burned food. The MiniMo is perfect. This pan needs regulated heat.

This item was listed as a “closeout” but when it arrived it was clearly labeled “factory second”. The flux ring had some minor damage. I called and was told this was an error on the site but a week later it has not been corrected. They offered me a return and refund. Just be aware you will be receiving a second not a closeout.

Factory Second..Says so right on it. Flux ring is tweaked.
No response from Sierra either. First and last purchase.

I am building an inventory for a motorcycle trip. Small light weight is a must and this fits the bill perfectly
  • Heats fast, not evenly.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bright Scouter from Lowell, MI on Monday, November 7, 2011
Wanted a small pan to cook in rather than the supplied cup. It does it's job, but because of the small flame, definitely does not cook evenly. Maybe supply a flame diffuser?
    • Cons: Hot spot in center
    • Pros: Fast heating

About Jetboil

Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst were fed-up with carrying around heavy, chunky stoves on their backcountry endeavors. In 2001, they took the matter into their own hands; Aspinwall and Dowst began Jetboil, a company dedicated to creating innovative cooking systems for backcountry adventurers. All Jetboil stove designs are based on the fact that compact, lightweight, fuel-efficient cooking systems depend on increased heat-transfer efficiency. Jetboil stove designs are subjected to intense field testing in the mountains and at the lab to ensure that you get the most efficient lightweight backpacking stove out there. The result of years of testing and inventing, Jetboil stoves are reliable, compact, unique and user friendly.
