Swingy, small arn-holes

This top has an odd fit, but if it works for you it's sweet. The arm-holes are small, and the circumference around the body at the base of the armholes is tight. So it is trim to the body above the bust, and then flares dramatically from there. Joan Vass usually runs large for me, so I tried this first in a size 0 - I usually wear a M/L in tops. It pinched and constricted at the armholes - both around the arms, and around the upper chest. The size 1 is better, but I would say that it just fits and is none too generous. The silk is lightweight, with enough drape that the a-line hangs well, and doesn't look like a tent. It is not revealing around the middle.
