About the Jockey Brand
Jockey 4.150627 5 Average Rating:
Did you know the Jockey clothing company is a third-generation, family-owned business based in Kenosha, Wisconsin? In fact, this well-known brand has been making apparel for more than 130 years. Founded in 1876 by Samuel T. Cooper in St. Joseph, Michigan, the original company (then called Coopers Inc.) started out making wool socks for lumberjacks, eventually expanding their product selection to include underwear. When Coopers introduced “Jockey” briefs in 1934, the company became the first in the world to offer men’s briefs and, within three months, they sold thirty thousand pairs. Soon after, Coopers was rebranded as Jockey. Today, Jockey underwear, boxers, briefs, socks and casual apparel are still among the most comfortable and well-made on the market.

Reviewed by Trader x from Eastern PA on Monday, April 24, 2017I disagree with some of the reviews here. Some clothing items are going to be hit or miss and this is by no means undersized. I am median in my size(5'6", 142 lbs, small) and this fits great. In fact, the fit resembles a Smartwool NTS 250 base layer. I have plenty of run of the mill Hanes long sleeve(henley and crew) shirts and this is definitely a step above. I wore this all day at home and although there's only a 2% spandex in the fabric, the recovery of the fabric was amazing. I would pull up the sleeves when I had to wash dishes(many times) and even took it off and back on 2 to 3 times and it still fit new at the end of the day. None of my other run of the mill shirts could come close to it. If you like your shirts to fit loose, this is not your shirt. Hope it helps. By the way, this is warm for shirts of this sort.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bryan from Michigan on Monday, April 17, 2017This appears to be designed as an undershirt, not as something you might wear on its own - which wasn't what I expected, but is fine. However, not only does it run very small and skin-tight, but the sleeves are impossibly small, to the point that they feel like they are cutting off circulation. The cuffs are made of a non-stretchy material, so despite my efforts just to stretch them out (the fabric is a small percentage spandex), they remain uncomfortably tight. I like my shirts to run small, I prefer a tighter fit, but this is just another level.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Ohio on Thursday, April 6, 2017I bought this shirt in a size small which usually fits on my 5'6" 130 lb body. I could not even pull it on over my body. You would have to be a stick figure for this to fit. I guess that is why it was discounted so much. This was the only size left so it went back for a credit which STP gave me in full.
