3.0 out of 5 stars. soft but thinVerified Buyer Reviewed by LauraMF from new york on Wednesday, December 28, 2016Nice blanket but not very substantial in terms of weight or weave. this is a limited edition which I now believe means it's not the same quality as the standard Elgin blankets. It is still a decent value but don't expect it to be double ply.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very denseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Puppy from Seattle, WA on Monday, December 26, 2016I like this and it is an excellent value for the price. It will probably last forever. The surface is very interesting because it is perfectly smooth. Buying an item directly from the mill is the best deal.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not At ALL as DescribedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Unhappy Gifter from NEPA on Thursday, December 22, 2016Ordered multiple of these as gifts. They are NOT silky-soft lambswool- they are scratchy wool. They are also NOT Johnstons of Elgin's Limited Edition throws, they are non-branded with a tag that (depending on which plaid your order) read "Limited Edition" no where on the throw does the word "Johnstons of Elgins" appear. Nice enough throw BUT absolutely NOT what is advertised and NOT worth the price unless you get one (which I did receive a single throw that was lambswool) that is as described.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Welllll........Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from yucca valley, ca on Wednesday, December 21, 2016I have ordered a few of these before and this is the "rug" version. Not the same velvety softness. I would have kept it though, except that the colors were just too dark. I want to see the tartan colors a bit more.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice and soft!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Syracuse on Sunday, December 18, 2016Using this as a throw blanket for those cool evenings, sitting around and don't want to turn up the heat in the house. It's well made, soft and does a nice job keeping one warm. Especially like the color.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful and very softReviewed by JK from Nashville on Monday, November 28, 2016I own many blankets from Pendleton, Hudson bay, Faribault Mill, and Bronte by Moon Skye but this blanket by far is the best. A+

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great blanketsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Monday, November 14, 2016I got 3 blankets of different colors. The quality is the best there is and the colors beautiful. My only complaint is that the red one is a bit itchy compared to the others that are very soft. The red one is thicker as well. The difference is so obvious that I thought I'd been sent the wrong blanket. Regardless, it's a good blanket and we just do not allow skin contact.

5.0 out of 5 stars. so softVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WI on Monday, November 7, 2016Love this throw. The colors are beautiful. I ordered the blank/ivory/red, and the ivory is lighter than shows on my monitor and tends to be more beige. The gray is also lighter than what shows on my monitor. Very soft and snuggly.
