I bought this for my daughter in ivory/hot pink to put on top of a lightweight duvet for cold Canadian nights. It's just beautiful, and as soft as can be. Perfect for added warmth with very little weight. Cheerful colour -- won't show hair from the Jack Russells who are also adding warmth to the be... Read More

Beautiful, soft, snuggly. The red and black and really bold colors. Looks just like the picture. Colors just didn't work for me in my room.

Throws made of natural, renewable materials are far more appealing to me than synthetic ones. That being said I have purchased many Johnstons of Elign throws. The merino wool and cashmere blend is magic on this one. It is so soft. I purchased 2 of the yellow ones for fall. The colors are beautiful. You can't go wrong with this brand even at listed price. The only thing that would be more amazing than this throw is if the 50% off coupons started coming around again so I could buy more of them.

These are just great. I've bought a few already for gifts mostly. but I'm keeping a few to throw around on chairs and sofa. Can't beat these at this price.

This is such a beautiful quality throw. It's thin and lightweight, almost could be a sweater scarf except that it's large enough to cover the top of my queen bed. It's not large enough to be a full blanket on its own though. Gives me extra warmth for cool spring nights over my quilt. Very pleased with this purchase so much I just bought another one in the exact color. Never can have enough of the Johnstons of Elgin blankets. Also got the camel hair and the lambs wool blanket throws previously and they're all large, quality beautiful blankets. Great for guest bedrooms.

About Johnstons of Elgin

The inherent luxury of pure Scottish cashmere is borne out in every garment that arrives from the legendary mills of Johnstons of Elgin - a centuries-old family firm doing business in the far North of Scotland since 1797. Using the finest cashmere and superfine wools in the world, Johnstons processes its fibers in a rare "vertical mill" system, where all of the dyeing, spinning, weaving and finishing are carefully controlled on site. Johnstons produces a range of cloth, knitwear and home furnishings at this historic plant - products that are probably best known for their irresistible softness to the touch. The secret, Johnstons believes, is in the finishing, a process still enhanced by the super soft, clear water from nearby River Lossie.
