They do seal enough to keep air out, but to not snap close and are easily removed. They serve my purpose of storing dry goods, returning was not worth the effort for the price. I prefer containers which secure better than these.

Why the price?Reviewed by cfra from california on Friday, October 26, 2018I wasn't going to leave a review after I price checked these online in comparison - they are well priced for the other stores, but personally, well, one it's 3 containers not six, fine but the piece part is not apropos - they are not very tight fitting, and the material, well I purchased this coinciding with other bowl containers and these are not as strong (can I freeze with these?), and it would leak if held upside down or pull off, the lids. It is just okay, a hassle to take the lid off considering cheap ziplock type work better at a snap closure.
