LQ / Cheap Lenses

After seeing these in person, i would never purchase a pair of Julbo's ... the lens is not formed in place, it is a flat lens that is them later curved to fit the frames. what this does is, bend/distort the light coming through the lens causing a rainbow effect. It get's even worse if you do this with polarized materials. From now on, I'll be sure to stick with buying name brand glasses. I ended up buying a pair of $140 Spy's for $40 on closeout. and another that retail for $180 for $60.

I knew something was going to be wrong as soon as I opened the box, and the lens coating had a brushed texture and was not a perfect mirror (usually caused by the cheaper methods of creating "polarized" lenses)
