Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cop from Atlanta on Thursday, February 22, 2018I'm comparing to the original explorers. I liked the originals very much however they felt a little heavy on the nose and arms hurt your ears after a bit. These are much lighter. Not sure if that means flimsy. The fit on my face is not as good. Much more space around lenses and temple to let light and wind in. Maybe that's for ventilation. The arms felt much better on my ears but not nearly as stable. The would fly of my face if I took a tumble. The look doesn't do it for me. Very big, round lenses.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dee from Madison, WI on Wednesday, February 14, 2018Love the style and fit of these goggles, but the lens doesn't offer much in the way of changing light conditions.
Reviewed by Eric B. from Massachusetts on Tuesday, February 13, 2018I've avoided wearing googles because they restrict peripheral vision. These are better than any I've tried, offering a 180 degree field of vision.
Their clarity is superb, the filter tints on the yellow side of orange. Perfect for sunny days, OK for semi-shade, too much for darker conditions.
Beware, STP's product title lists them as Cat 2, the product description as Cat 3. On the darker side, those I received (yellow headband) were Cat 3.
A great value for the $.
