    I got my son two pair of these because they were on clearance. He said he knows why they are on clearance because a seam in the back of the shoe would rub on the back of his heal and if he wore them for any length of time he would have a blister or a sore. Sent them back and very disappointed. It also looked like someone else might have had the same problem because the lace looked used.

    I never understand why people leave a review and complain about something other than the product itself. These are not 1-star boots. They are high quality, with excellent leather, a substantial sole, and nice details. Haven't had them for long but I expect them to last a while. Fit is on the generous side of true to size, so if you plan on wearing thick socks (as you should) you'll be fine with your normal size. The color is accurate to the pictures, and these look even better in person. The contrasting color on the sole is a nice touch.

    Husband is a painter and he has used them to work for two weeks. Sole is unglued. I’m surprised and very disappointed.
