Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Since previous buyers felt it was sized too small, I bought the 2xl for my second-largest size head. It fits well although a quarter size smaller is about right - but see below.
The brim is broad, and although it flips up going into the wind, wil... Read More
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Diana who loves to hike from Rocheter on Saturday, June 6, 2015I liked the hat but it was too small,. There was a problem on the website so I couldn't get the sizing chart so I did have to return it. If it was my size I would have kept it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by HNLinSBN from South Bend, IN on Monday, April 27, 2015Basic outback hat that fits well and as expected. I'm not looking to mahe a statement; just keeping the head and face protected from the elements.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Annie Oakley from Western CO on Wednesday, April 8, 2015Hat fits well but needs some sort of protection for those who are bald from the sun under the mesh
Verified Buyer Reviewed by chinagringo from New Mexico on Tuesday, March 24, 2015Sure the price was right but the lack of quality was obvious. Certainly no where near my hat purchases of Outback Trading.
Reviewed by Campchick from Prescott AZ on Thursday, March 19, 2015This hat is made of a treated, stiff canvas. It's very lightweight. It runs small. I have a small head and ordered a medium and had to send it back as it was so tight. A large fit well (21" head). If you pack it, be very careful of the brim--any wrong bend will alter its shape and render it unattractive. It seems to have an Australian look to it.

“What are the numerical sizes for what you are calling L and XL ?”
L (Size 7_3/8-7_1/2), XL (Size 7_5/8-7_3/4). I hope this helps and have a great day.
“I have clicked three times on the link that customer service gave in their sizing answer for this hat, but the link doesn't take me to anything having to do with hat sizing. I have also done a site search for "hat sizing" but have come up with zero. I gather that this hat runs small, but I'm wondering how small. I already have a different style of Kakadu hat that I had to exchange for one size up, and even that is snug. I wonder if the sizing of this Cape York Hat is the same or different from other Kakadu hats.”

“Hi, I want to order this hat. My head measures 22 and 1/2 what size should I order?”
Measure your head circumference and use the sizing chart on that STP provides to choose S, M, L, XL, or 2XL. I had to pick one full size larger than I usually wear to get the proper fit. The hat does stretch slightly as it warms up, which gives it a comfortably snug fit.
“i cannot find sizing chart”
