No Heel Support

From the arch forward and the sole up, this is a great shoe. Pay attention to the photo (I didn't); the amount of cushion is equal to the depth of the black sole. This shoe has a "negative" heel, which means your toes ride high while your heel sinks to the (hard) ground. If you are one to walk on your toes, you may find these comfortable, but they made my heels hurt. It's too bad, because the shoe looks great on and is otherwise comfortable right out of he box. It just feels like the whole rear part of the insole is missing.
