Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Stella from Spokane, WA on Thursday, January 26, 2017Love these boots. Run slightly large, ordered my usual size 10 and have room for heavy socks so they are perfect for me. They keep my feet warm and dry and have adequate support.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Oregonbabyduck from Oregon on Sunday, January 22, 2017First off, I love the boots, they really do keep feet warm. I only gave it 4 stars, instead of 5 due to the orange tabs holding the laces. One broke after the first week. I sewed it back into place and then used a fabric superglue to keep it secure. I bought another pair on ebay that had metal lace holders, no problems. However the ebay boots do not hold up to the Kamik boots.
My opinion, make the Encore boots with metal lace holders and problem solved.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by nino from NY on Monday, January 9, 2017My wife love boots. She is always cold and she says her feet doesn't get cold or wet anymore
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Zena the princes warrior from WIsconsin on Friday, December 30, 2016From WIsconsin and the weather gets really cold at times! Found you must wear good socks other wise your feet sweat and then you will feel cold. So good sweat reducing socks are highly recommended on below zero days. Other wise on average 20 degree to 0 light socks works well. I love the quality of these boots and would order from Sierra again as they came super fast - no hassle. But also love the Kamik Brand.
I have wide feet and the fit was right on for me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by panda from Wisconsin on Tuesday, December 13, 2016Warm and light weight, but too tall and immobile. I felt like I'd get sick of walking in them too fast. Went back.

“I was wondering how stiff the boat is? Most winter boots I've tried feel like ski boots and hurt, or take two years to break in. I need a softer boot for the condition of my feet. ”
The upper is a much softer material than those boots and has a lot of flexibility. They do come up higher than most snow boots I've owned, but that flexibility makes them so wearable.

I wear a 7.5 in shoes and I ordered the 8. They have a little extra room for good wool socks and still have room for air. I wore them to put up christmas lights in 32 degree rain/snow and my toes were toasty. I recommend you get a 7.
