Warm, dry, unfortunate sizing

On the sizing advice here, I sized down--I typically wear an 8 or 8.5. The boot is too short for my foot, though width is fine. Like, stubbing-toe short. A whole size up and I feel like I'd be swimming in them, though, since the width is just right as is. Oh well! They have awesome traction, easy on/off, don't look too bad for being mega pac boots, and seem warm.

At the same warmth rating I got the Kamik Seattle style too, and am keeping those instead--won't be as good on the ice, but I've already tested those in snow and slush and love them (in a size 9; sizing advice for that style is for half sizes to order up--what's going on, Kamik?!).
