Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Photo Diva from Minnesota on Wednesday, January 1, 2014Being a photographer means being out in the elements when most people refuse to leave the warmth and comfort of home. You need the proper clothing and footware to be able to focus your energies on capturing the moment and not on worrying about the weather and being cold. Winter in "Minnesnowcold" is much more pleasant with these boots - warm, comfortable, waterproof, and good grip.
Reviewed by Rachel the Snowlover from Northwest Kansas on Sunday, December 8, 2013I am delighted with these boots. When I moved to Northwest Kansas from California I bought some boots from a big box store that were rated for -5. My fiance said that's not enough. These boots are enough. They are watertight and warm. In the past week the temperature has never gotten out ot the 20s with several days at zero and nights (I work nights) at -5- -19. The boots are warm. I wore them with ordinary socks, so they were snug, but not too tight.
Reviewed by backpackingbeauty from Boise, Id on Friday, December 6, 2013This is the first pair of actual winter/snow boots I have owned in years so I don't know how accurate my review is. I ordered these in a 10 which is the size I normally wear and they fit great both with and without thick boot socks. There are really warm and cozy, almost too warm for my feet! The only complaint I have is that they seem "roomy" towards the top of the foot and around the ankle. But I think they will serve their purpose well and I just couldn't beat the amazing price!!
Reviewed by Canadian South of the Boarder from Virginia on Friday, November 15, 2013Boots were fine except that in the front there was very little space between the the bottom and the roof of shoe. Add insulation to that and it is very tight. I tried wearing thin socks and I was still uncomfortable. Length was fine so a larger size still will not help. The thick rubber will never streach to fit so I had to return it.
