Verified Buyer Reviewed by GM the Hiker from White Mountains of New Hampshire on Monday, December 26, 2016I bought these boots to replace a pair of Sorels that I've had for years. Although I haven't worn these in the cold and snow yet, I have tried them on and they appear to be an excellent boot for the Barnburner price ($39.99). They have a Thinsulate lining, good tread on the sole and a nice lacing system. I recommend you order a size up to accommodate a heavy sock.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MrPerk from Texas on Wednesday, December 14, 2016Ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. Unlaced to base of tongue and unable to get foot past halfway into shoe due to arch of boot being completely rigid. No idea whose feet these were designed for, but I had to return them - "Just Don't Fit."
Verified Buyer Reviewed by owen from massachusetts on Friday, December 2, 2016have not yet had the opportunity to test these long-term but so far my feet feel super warm in them and feel comfortable. i definitely recommend getting a size bigger than you think, especially if you want to wear thick socks. the insulated insert is very cushiony and takes up a lot of space in the boot. i might add arch-support inserts but Im not sure yet if I'll need to. They seem very well-constructed. Because of how tall and sturdy they are ankle movement is limited / there is good ankle support / i think they will become slightly more flexible in the ankle (in a good way) as i break them in.
