I wear a men's size 8.5 and figured on ordering a size 9. They sold out so I got the last size 8.5. They fit great!
The last time i purchased mountaineering boots was when I went on a glacier walking class whilst on vacation in Switzerland.
I used a Kofach Ultra with footfangs. They were uncomfortable and the inner boots stank after a week. I went for a quick walk to the post office wearing these new boots - its 28 F outside. They are warm and dont hurt. They also fit PETZL Sarken Leverlock crampons. (And my old SMC 12 points and the Katoola microspikes for walking around in the house). I plan on taking these along this winter during my winter camping season. I'll update this if needed

4.0 out of 5 stars. ORDER BIG!Reviewed by Anonymous from Alaska on Saturday, November 3, 2018Will update this once I get the chance to actually wear the replacement pair being sent to me after returning the original due to fit issues... these run WICKED SMALL! Normally a 9-9.5 in mountaineering boots myself, felt really safe ordering a size 10, they felt like an 8.5! I can't imagine the break in would account for a half size but even if it does, order at VERY least a size up so you don't wind up returning you pair. To have them in my hands though, EPIC boot & cannot wait to put them to the test!

4.0 out of 5 stars. great boot- wish it was right for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Diego, California on Tuesday, November 14, 2017Bought these for an upcoming winter trip to mount Whitney-was stoked when they came in, i like style of the shoe, seems functional, built to last.
comparatively to nepal Evo's, they seem to run somewhat narrow (i have an "average" foot with and felt they were pretty snug), but obviously size up due to feet swelling and want not at altitude
seemed about as durable as the Evo's but more stylish
Gator feature is a little odd- crinkly when you slide them on, and tricky to slide them on initially. and they can be somewhat noisy when you really articulate the ankle- not sure if this is really a deal breaker, just something i noticed!
returned them to size up, but i guess they ran out of my size!! oh well, all and all seem like great boots, just didn't really get a chance to take them out for a spin like i had hoped!
