great boot- wish it was right for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alex V from SD from San Diego, California on Tuesday, November 14, 2017Bought these for an upcoming winter trip to mount Whitney-was stoked when they came in, i like style of the shoe, seems functional, built to last.
comparatively to nepal Evo's, they seem to run somewhat narrow (i have an "average" foot with and felt they were pretty snug), but obviously size up due to feet swelling and want not at altitude
seemed about as durable as the Evo's but more stylish
Gator feature is a little odd- crinkly when you slide them on, and tricky to slide them on initially. and they can be somewhat noisy when you really articulate the ankle- not sure if this is really a deal breaker, just something i noticed!
returned them to size up, but i guess they ran out of my size!! oh well, all and all seem like great boots, just didn't really get a chance to take them out for a spin like i had hoped!

“ I wear Asolo hiking boots size 46 wide . what size should I go with in this boot ? Do these boots come with wide sizes? What would you recommend.
They're definitely snug- I'm relatively new to the mountaineering seen, but I know you want boots to be loose rather than tight fitting due to leg swelling and other reasons. So if you're a size 46 common which is I believe a 12 in the US, I would definitely size up at least one whole US size. They felt very cramped and I have relatively normal sized feet and usually rest comfortably in a size 11 when I tried them on
We do not have any type of cross-brand sizing comparison chart. However, according to our fit team this item is running true to size.
“Are these Boots Compatible with Step-in Crampons? ”
These are crampon compatible, but they are not specifically listed as being step-in compatible.
Yes they are. My son has these and they take most step in bindings. I have tried all of these on the boots: Grivel Rambo, 2F, G12; BD Sabertooth,Switchblade,Cyborg pro.
“Is this size US or UK ?
I want EU 41 size.”
These are listed in US sizes.
