Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by DK from Upstate NY from Upstate, NY on Sunday, November 2, 2014Bought it for a 14 years young, she hiked in them for over 7 miles to Cascades and Porters peak in Adirondack. Went through a lot of mud pools, sslippery rocks. Boots held very well. Did not slip once.
She did not get tired, boots are lightweight and comfortable.
Thank STP for a Great product and great price.
Reviewed by Pam the Plodder from Arizona on Friday, August 16, 2013I love this boot, especially the achilles notch and pad at the back of the boot. But there's a problem. This boot runs small. It was tight in the toes (it really angles in) and just generally tight all around. Even getting a half size larger, it was still too tight! I couldn't imagine wearing this boot on a long hike. If you were a size 6, a 7.5 might fit you. But I wouldn't count on it!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Planet Oceana from Boston, MA on Monday, February 20, 2012Beautiful, well-made boot that I was looking forward to wearing... I wear standard sz 7, followed STP advise and ordered 1 sz up, sz 8. It ended up being a bit too short, so I ordered another pair, sz 8 1/2 worrying it would not be long enough... Well, I had no reason to worry: 8 1/2 felt like it was a full size and a half bigger than my first pair... Very disappointed, returning the boot...
Verified Buyer Reviewed by xraykat from Eden, New York on Sunday, October 30, 2011Boot recieved from STP made in [*]. Arch support too foreward & painful on feet. Same boot purchased at independent retailer made in Romania fit perfectly. Wore it every day for 5 days hiking in Adirondaks, and very satisfied. Would recommend the Romanian product, but not the [*] made boot.
- Cons: Arch support too foreward
Reviewed by THE WORKER from TEXAS on Saturday, October 1, 2011I WORK OUTSIDE, CARRYING HEAVY ITEMS, SQUATTING, LIFTING, AND ON MY FEET ALL DAY. THESE BOOTS KEEP MY FEET FEELING GREAT ALL DAY. THEY EVEN ABSORB THE SHOCK WHEN I JUMP OFF OF A 3 FOOT STEP. I AM 53 YEARS OLD AND I WANT AND APPRECIATE GOOD FOOTWEAR. THESE ARE GREAT.
- Best Uses: Hiking, MOUNTAIN CLMBING, Working
- Cons: A BIT HOT ON THE FEET
- Pros: GREAT SHOCK ABSORBTION, Great Support, HANDLES THE ROCKS WELL, Very well made
