Great for anything in the Snow & Cold. I have had 6 pairs of Keen sandals & shoes and always wanted a pair of their boots. They do feel a little small, I got a half size larger than my keen sandals and they still feel a little tight on the width, but not so bad to send them back.

  • “What is the temperature rating on this boot?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 9/21/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • I could not find the exact temperature rating for these boots. But I do know that these boots were designed for the Alaskan wilderness and we all know that Alaska has some of the toughest winter weather in the world and the temperatures there are some of the most extreme. There is no doubt in my mind that when purchased, these boots will hold up to any potential cold weather hazard you will face.

    • Well, I don't know the exact temp rating but I'd estimate it to be good to -25 degrees or so. Appears to have 400-600 grams of insulation. I've been more than fine with it on in the cool 30 degree mornings we've had here in MN so far this year! That's mostly sitting still in a duck blind too! Hope this helps!

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
