This is my third pair. They are the BEST house shoes ever! They are soft, warm and comfortable while providing great arch support for your feet that is lacking in 99.9% of slippers out there... I only wish they would last forever but being wool they will stretch out some and begin to get wear holes ... Read More

  • “I live in Oregon where it rains a lot in the do they hold up when wet?”
Asked by Vicki from Corvallis, OR on 7/13/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • These will be ok in the wet weather but will break down and will not keep your feet dry as they have a drop back and are not waterproof.
Answered on 7/20/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • They are wool and not waterproof at all. I would only wear them when it is dry (or indoors), otherwise your feet will be wet...

    • I wore mine yesterday while watering and puttering in the yard. They weren't necessarily soaked for a long time, but they definitely got wet and were none the worse for wear.

  • “Is the "Monument" color gray or blue? I really cannot tell on my screen. Thanks!”
Asked by Anonymous from Erie, CO on 4/7/2010 12:00:00 AM
    • It is a gray with a blue hue as presented in the photo. I hope that helps.
Answered on 4/15/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • I bought a pair in monument grey. It definitely is gray not blue! This gray does lean more toward the bluer hues of grey (rather than brown hues or other...) I would describe it as a "light steel grey". The color in the picture is pretty accurate I think. I hope this helps!

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
