I was pleasantly surprised when I got the boots. I had settled for them and when I opened the box I found that I really liked them. They seem to be made very well.

I recently hiked in these around Devils Lake WI and another park in Neceedah WI. These boots were very comfortable for all day wear and true to my shoe size. I was able to wear some thicker wool socks and my feet were not squished.

The reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because the lining does not got all the way through the inside of the boot, only around the ankle part. Also the material around the ankle and the laces is not waterproof.

I purchased these boots for both of my daughters. We had gotten the same shoes at REI last year and they worked well all winter. Keeps the wet and cold out but not too bulking when walking around indoors.

I have narrow feet so Keen is a little wide on my foot but I will keep them because they are pretty comfortable (for waterproof boots) and look very cute with jeans or leggings. I have received many compliments on them.

  • “What is the temperature rate for these boots?”
Asked by Robert from M on 9/28/2016 8:17:08 AM
    • Sorry there is not a temperature rating. Most manufacturers do not have temperature ratings for their garments or footwear due to the number of factors that affect how warm it may keep you.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
