I ordered these to wear instead of regular sneakers. I almost bought a pair of Redwing boots, but I remember how slippery the soles get on the Redwings. I decided to give these a try. I normally wear a size mens US 8, and I ordered these in an 8 1/2, and they fit perfect. These are really comfortable shoes. I forgot they were on my feet after wearing them around the house for 20 minutes. I removed the elastic laces (somebodies bad idea), and put in the regular laces right away.
These shoe appear to be very well made, and I think the soles will be ok (not too slippery).

While these look pretty nice, there is almost no footbed support, no arch support. I would not recommend them for walking around for any sustained period. They do not feel like the many pairs of Keens I have had in the past. Ditch the elastic laces, they are a pain and don't really add any convenience.

Shoes seem narrow for Keens, but with time will hopefully stretch a bit. Laces provided in the shoes had to be removed as I couldn't get my foot in, but the second provided pair laces in easily.

Love these boots!!! Had to take off the slide strings, not enough room to get foot in boot. They provide another set of regular shoe strings. Nice looking boot. Size dead on. Love them

A fine looking shoe with an excellent fit. Whenever I order a pair of Keens I order the size of my first pair which fit well and all the rest fit as well. Always happy with a pair of Keens.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
