Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by A parent in action from Silicon Valley on Tuesday, September 8, 2015Overall performs as discussed. Probably a better choice for areas with more snow and less dust. The sides and the opening look softer than they really are, but overall, Keen's quality and design is definitely one of the standards in all the shoes market.
Reviewed by Big Tom from Texas on Sunday, January 4, 2015We love the KEEN brand and I couldn't pass up this deal. Yes the opening is narrow, so I bought the next size up - problem solved. My 9-year old son loves them! We like the fact they can be worn outside. I plan to dose these in weather-proofing spray so he can wear them more! They are a good fit and seem as durable as all the other KEEN shoes we've bought him (new and used) over the years. They definitely keep the feet warm and we recommend they be allowed to air out or fluffed in the dryer once in a while. We hope these will last 2-3 winters. Doesn't hurt that purple is our school's colors either!
Reviewed by x from brooklyn on Thursday, December 25, 2014great looking shoes but you literally can't put them on if you have a normal size foot. Very frustrating especially for little kids. I read the reviews and figured it couldn't be this bad but it is... DON"T BUY unless you know your feet will fit
Verified Buyer Reviewed by anon from ma on Wednesday, December 3, 2014My daughter has long narrow feet and these shoes are perfect for her. They are nicely supportive and look great too. Kids with wide feet would not be able to get these on easily.
Reviewed by AKSnowGRL from Homer, Alaska on Friday, August 15, 2014I see others commenting on the opening of this shoe being too small and difficult to put on. My kids have narrow feet and they have lovingly named these shoes their "wiggle wiggle shoes" because they really have to wiggle their feet and ankles to get them on, but they love them and wear them everywhere. So that being said I rAted them higher because these are my kids favorite shoes and they are sturdy, comfortable (once on), and go well with their everyday clothes. Good construction.
