looks like a rock climbing shoe

Laces extend further than normal, to the tip of my big toe. Most shoes when you flex the toe, you wrinkle a smooth part of the upper. With these shoes you wrinkle the tongue, both sides of the upper, and the lace. Left side was no problem, but, right side the wrinkle dug into my big toe. It took a little playing around to get the wrinkle to form in a way that didn't bug my feet. Feels fine now.
