Worked for Climbing 14er

I just went on my first climb with these boots - 7 miles, 3,000 vertical, 7 hours climb and they were fantastic. Through streams and scree fields they were comfortable the entire way. Not that I would recommend it, but I did not break them in before wearing these (aside from a walk around the neighborhood). I was concerned with them being too hot, but this was not a problem either. I hiked in 40-70 degree weather and no problems. I would probably go with a lighter sock if it was hotter, but no issues with a medium pair of hiking socks. I went a 1/2 size larger than normal and glad I did - they were a solid fit.
