These boots are nice, light and have great traction. Also they are vegan no animal products used to make these boots. The fit is good. Didn't size up like all the reviews stated

This is the 4th pair of these Keen boots that I've had, and they just keep getting better. The fit is great, they hold my heel while allowing plenty of room across the ball of the foot. These are the lightest pair of boots I've ever had, too. The don't weigh any more than a pair of sneakers. The dual-rubber sole (soft and hard) gives great traction on all kinds of surfaces, too.

I've been looking for the perfect pair of waterproof hiking boots for a few years and I think I've finally found them! While I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear (they run a little small), they fit great and offer just enough motion in the sole to make hiking easy and offer stability at the same time.

Love them. Great for walking and hiking in the woods. Waterproof too.

I probably put 70 miles on these boots so far and they are working great. My feet haven't gotten wet yet in them though I walked through/across many streams. They grip well on different surfaces. They are true to size though a bit wide. One negative is that the bed of the sole, area in under the insole had a hard seam or something on the outside of the foot mid foot and I needed to put an insole insert combined with the provided insole to help smooth out the odd bump.... other than that, they are great boots

I got these for my son. After reading other reviews I thought it best to go up s half of a size. DO NOT DO THAT! If anything, you need to go down a half size. He liked the look of them and thought they'd be comfortable, but we had to return them and they didn't have his size.

    • Mine are definitely grey, with red and black laces. The heel and toe are dark grey, almost black.

    • The pair I received is olive green about 50% of the boot. The other 50% is graphite the tongue is black mesh over olive.

    • Originally we had multiple other colors that are currently sold out. As of now we have the Neutral Grey/Racing Red (02) and the Dark Earth/Tawny Olive (04). The other photos are there to give an overall view of the entire boot.

  • “True shoe size or down or up size...I'm normally a true 11.”
Asked by Spidey from California on 3/7/2016 11:26:39 AM
    • I found that this shoe runs small. Even Keen states on their website to order a 1/2 size bigger because they run small. I found this out after having ordered an 11 (my typical shoe size) and exchanged it for an 11-1/2. They fit well after the exchange.

    • I normally wear a size 10 and that's what I wear in these shoes.

    • I wear a 13 and that is what I sent off for. I found the fit to be perfect.

    • If you are a true 11 then get a 12 for a hiking boot. The reason is your feet will swell after hiking all day long, and it will allow you to wear thicker wool blend socks to keep your feet warmer, and reduce blisters.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
