I have bad bunions and it is difficult to get a walking shoe that fits. These Keens fit comfortably even though I usually take a 4X width

Reviewed by Aruba from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 2, 2013For keen they run big and wide. I sent them back ordered 1/2 size smaller but still wide. I'm keeping them because of the comfort. Very light weight shoe almost could use for a water shoe. Very different for keen.

Reviewed by Kayaker from TN on Friday, January 18, 2013I am very surprised at the negative reviews. Hey if you want a hiking shoe buy a hiking shoe. I love Keen shoes. Bought these strickly for kayaking. I would never wear these hiking. I would wear Keen hiking shoes for that. These are very comfortable and keep the peebles out when you are getting in and out of kayak on river trips. Love the shoe.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Amy from clark, co on Friday, January 18, 2013The shoes seem great for what I plan to use them for-hiking and traveling in South America. The only thing that concerns me is the tongue of the shoe is short also doesn't lay flat. it seems like if the conditions were very wet the shoes wouldn't be very waterproof because of the gap.
