the perfect sport sandal!

I kayak for leisure and I'm on my feet 9 hours a day as a preschool teacher, and these shoes haven't let me down yet. I wear super thin, short black socks with them when I'm not going in the water to keep them from rubbing after hours of wear (as any shoes would do), as well as to keep my feet a little warmer since they're an open style.

I have foot/leg problems and was recently in physical therapy for 2 months. My ortheopaedic therapist was thrilled when I bought this pair of Keens, and highly recommended the brand (she wears them too!)

They're amazingly comfortable and conform to my foot shape--wide at the front and narrow at the heel--and they also don't EVER make my feet hurt (very rare for me and shoes). I have rather severe bunions, and these shoes don't cause pain. I was told I might eventually need custom orthopaedic inserts, but maybe not if I stay in my Keens!

[My only (very tiny) complaint is that they can be somewhat difficult to put on--definitely not my choice of shoe when I'm running really late for work.]
