Keen PDX Universal Check Point Backpack
Closeouts. A road warrior's best friend, Keen's PDX Universal Check Point backpack offers excellent organization and cushioned comfort for travelers and commuters. A separate padded laptop compartment makes passing through airport security a breeze, and the main compartment has pockets for all your peripherals.

Reviewed by Elah the Oak from Chama on Saturday, May 4, 2013I bought this to transport my office laptop while on air travel. My laptop is a fullsize 17 in computer. I put it into computer slot and zipped the first time and was extremely snug. So afterward I did not unzip when inserting. It kept my laptop in securely. In the laptop section are also two other pockets for tablet and thin folder, etc. W/the laptop inserted, everything else is limited. W/laptop in, I also inserted tablet and book. I had difficulty accessing these items later due to snug fit. The front pockets allowed me to Carr a folio notebook, travel clothes and the power supply. It gave a lot more room than the stock computer bag. It being a backpack evened distribution on my back. As with a lot of 'granoly' brands, it is not designed for a big fella. I recently lost weight and know it would not have fit when I was 220 lbs. The straps are not well padded and the air breathable material tends to dig into your skin. I've worn water packs, extended day packs and child carrier packs and these straps are not nearly as good. I chose this due to storage size of around 2000 cu in capacity, the color, name brand. There were other better laptop airport back packs out there, but style was important. I do wish there were outer pockets, especially ones on the side for water bottles, but that takes away from the slim profile.
Reviewed by Professional Recreater from Detroit on Tuesday, April 30, 2013Great computer storage pocket! I don't even use my neoprene case for my computer anymore because the pocket has great padding. The zippers track nicely, and I like the color. It doesn't expand as much as I would like, so I can't fit my bulky items so well. The top pocket is great for travel kleenex and/or smokes and a lighter, but I reccomend Eciggarette and Eliquid.
Reviewed by MommaBri from Austin on Thursday, March 28, 2013Not what I expected. I thought it would be even more compact but now that I have used it for two weeks, I am so glad I kept it! Cool and different bag. Moved from a Kelty daypack to this keen one. I am a bag collector of sorts and am glad to add this one to my collection. It fits my apple 15" no problem and paperwork too without wrinkles!

Reviewed by ALMS TP from San Antonio on Monday, March 18, 2013My last Keen backpack was huge but only had one zippered compartment, with very few pockets inside. This one has 3 zippered sections which is better to organize things especially when you are traveling. The computer area is in the back and you have to pull the straps over to the front to unzip the back, which is a little inconvenient when you are rushing to get you computer out at the airport for TSA. My 15" MBP with Speck matte cover is a tight fit into the sleeve. I can also fit a 13" MBA into the folder sleeves in this section along with the 15". Wish it had a couple of external zippered pockets and a mesh pocket to carry a water bottle.
Reviewed by Ronald from Baltimore, Maryland USA on Sunday, March 10, 2013This backpack lives up to its Brand's name.
It is well constructed, has lots of features
and a good number of accessory pouches.
It is relatively light for being so well padded.
This is my second keen backpack my
previous one lasted four years of daily use.
