Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MK from Oregon on Thursday, September 8, 2016I bought these shoes to replace my old Keen Mary Jane shoes. They fit well, the only difference is that they seem stiff around the top and back of the shoe. I don't remember my old ones feeling like this when they were new. But it's not enough to consider returning them, and I suspect they will soften up with time.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by CrossTrainer from Kentucky on Thursday, August 18, 2016I usually wear a 10 in Keens and have enjoyed other Keen shoes, but for some reason the left toe seemed to rub as though a little too short.
Otherwise I loved that I could fit my custom inserts inside and remove the originals. These shoes are built so well that I REALLY wanted it to work.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jenrunsaustin from Austin, TX on Wednesday, August 17, 2016These are cute, but a little clunky. The outside wraps a little funny on my foot. I think they will be good for working around the house, but I probably would have returned them if they had cost anymore than they did.
Reviewed by Porter hay from New Castle, Colorado on Wednesday, June 22, 2016yes, they run large. SO, as I am a 8.5 I ordered an eight. wowo. Fit is perfect, arch support, roomy toe box, had not tried keen's before, am a dansko babe.LOVE THEM!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mossie from Idaho on Tuesday, June 7, 2016I wear a 9, too big. Returned for an 8 1/2 with no problems. Great shoe for the office and light field work.

“Are these Presidio's Imperfect? I have several pairs and I ordered a half size up of these to fit my orthotics and they are too long , yet the inside seam of the top inside edge is too tight on the top of my metatarsals. Someone else mentioned that it left red marks and that they were Defective. I guess I need to return them. Not wanting to hurt my feet stretching them in.”
They are not imperfect. They were just a model that Keen is no longer selling. Keen seems to love to create new versions of shoes and then abandon them. I know because I have been buying Keens for a dozen years. If I find a style I really like I hurry and buy another pair knowing they won't have it when I go to buy them again. Back to your question. I did buy these exact shoes also and had to return them. They were incredibly uncomfortable. I tried them with my orthotics, also. The main discomfort was the strop over the top of the foot. The rest of the problem was the entire shoe was just uncomfortable. I would return them. STP is great about accepting returns.
These are listed as Closeouts, not 2nds. Closeouts: may be last year's model or color, yet always first hand quality.
It is very good and not inperfect or no second quality. I do not see any red mark and it is not defective. I normally ware Keen's steel toe shoes, 1/2 size up. I ordered 1/2 up size but it was too big. So I exchange to normal size.
There are enough room in toe area and my feet are very happy. I am wearing everyday as sneaker. I am wide feet and even I have bad bunion. But this shoes are so confortable.
I think thick orthotics makes less room in shoes. So I think it is why you feel the tightness.
